Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Streaks mobile application ("App") provided by Streaks ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

2. User Accounts

You may use the App without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Google or Apple) to unlock cloud backup and leaderboard features, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your account credentials secure.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Choosing a username that is not offensive, misleading, or in violation of anyone's rights.

We reserve the right to remove or change usernames that violate these Terms without notice.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Streaks offers optional Premium subscriptions that unlock additional features. The following terms apply to all paid plans:

Billing:

• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account upon purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Lifetime purchase: The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that grants permanent access to Premium features for the current version of the App. We reserve the right to charge for major future versions.

Cancellation:

• iOS: Cancel via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Android: Cancel via Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Premium access until then.

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

Restore Purchases: If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" option in Settings to recover your subscription.

4. Free Tier

The free version of Streaks is provided as-is, with limited features. We reserve the right to modify, limit, or discontinue any feature of the free tier at any time with reasonable notice. Free features will always remain available for basic habit tracking.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App, its servers, or connected services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use automated tools to scrape, manipulate, or game the leaderboard.
• Upload or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including but not limited to the design, code, graphics, icons, animations, and copy — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your content: The habit names, custom icons, and data you create in the App belong to you. By using cloud backup, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your data solely to provide the backup service.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the App without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
• Any results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable.
• Defects will be corrected.

Streaks is a personal productivity tool. We make no guarantees about health, fitness, or behavioural outcomes from using the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the App.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD if you have not made any payments.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. To also delete your cloud data and account, go to Settings → Delete Account within the App, or email us at umairali2k181@gmail.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of a prepaid subscription.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or a court of competent jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
